The Penn Orphan Disease Center is generously matching donations to CRF through the Million Dollar Bike Ride (MDBR) up to $30,000! Your support can have twice the impact on choroideremia research when you give during MDBR!
Team CHM will be participating VIRTUALLY in the 8th Annual Million Dollar Bike Ride On Saturday, June 12, 2021, to raise money and awareness for choroideremia (CHM). CHM is a rare inherited retinal disorder that affects 1 in 50,000 individuals and causes progressive vision loss, ultimately leading to complete blindness. There currently are no treatment options or a cure for CHM. Funds raised will support choroideremia research and education.
Even though we won’t be seeing you in June in person, we ask and encourage you to ride on your own (or safely socially-distanced from your cycling buddy), between now and June 12th, and document your progress! You can even ride from a stationary bike in the comfort of your own home!
We need your help to make this event successful! YOU can be a part of the activities by becoming a fundraiser for CRF and make an impact on CHM research. You'll also receive a FREE shirt if you start an MDBR fundraiser! Get involved and show the world you mean business.
There are 2 steps to participate:
1) Click on Register to Start Fundraising and create a Team CHM fundraising page.
2) Register as a rider on the Million Dollar Bike Ride website here. You do not need to set up an additional fundraising page through the Penn Giving website.
If you have questions, please contact us at info@curechm.org for assistance. Thank you for your support!
