Team CHM will be participating both IN-PERSON and VIRTUALLY in the annual Penn Orphan Disease Center Million Dollar Bike Ride (MDBR) on Saturday, June 8, 2024, to raise research funding and awareness for choroideremia (CHM). CHM is a rare inherited retinal disorder that affects 1 in 50,000 individuals and causes progressive vision loss, ultimately leading to complete blindness. There currently are no treatment options or a cure for CHM.
As in past years, the Penn Orphan Disease Center is generously matching MDBR donations dollar-for-dollar to CRF up to $30,000! Your support can have TWICE the impact on choroideremia research when you give to the MDBR!
We invite YOU to be a part of this exciting event by becoming a fundraiser for Team CHM!
There are 2 steps to participate:
1) Click on Register to Start Fundraising and create a personal fundraising page, then share it with all your friends and family!
2) Register as a rider on the Million Dollar Bike Ride website here. You will need to create an account and select Team CHM as your charity. You may be required to set up a fundraising page through the Penn Giving website, but you are not required to use it. CRF prefers all donations come through this web page.
If you have questions, please contact us at info@curechm.org for assistance. Thank you in advance for your support!
