Join the Choroideremia Research Foundation (CRF) on February 28, 2022, Rare Disease Day to raise research funds and awareness for choroideremia (CHM). CHM is a rare inherited retinal disorder that affects 1 in 50,000 individuals and causes progressive vision loss, ultimately leading to complete blindness. There currently are no treatment options or a cure for CHM. Funds raised will support choroideremia research, education and advocacy.
Rare Disease Day® takes place on the last day of February each year. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness among the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives.
This year Spark Therapeutics and an anonymous donor have provided $5,000 as matching pledge to CRF so all donations made towards Rare Disease Day will be matched dollar for dollar! Make a gift today and DOUBLE your donation!
YOU can help by not only making a gift but by becoming a fundraiser for CRF.
If you have questions, please contact us at info@curechm.org for assistance.
